please add some more moderators to crush the spam and deal with the accounts that have caused it.

I only saw these spam posts the first time this morning and immediately dealt with them. Do you want to join as a Moderator?
Each time a spam post is made the best we can do is delete the post and block the IP address. From experience moderating another forum I’m not sure we’ll ever fully beat the spammers.

i flagged five or six messages, last night. all of them came in almost one after the other.
i agree that you can’t win. i’m just suggesting add some more mods so there are more eyes taking action, faster.
We actually have a pretty big number of mods but it’s also a question of time zones

I m a bit surprised why there is such an excitement about this. Last night it I saw the first bigger spam attempt. We can probably tune the forum settings. So far it was not necessary.
