Error trying to upload a profile pic

Hey everyone!

First of all it’s been ages since I used a classic forum, feels nostalgic.

The community rules say I should upload a profile picture, but I get an error when I try, something like “Sorry there was an error uploading…”.

By the way, I just tried pasting a screenshot into this post, and got the same error.

So something seems up with file uploads.

can you tell us from which device and browser you tried it?

I suggest trying with a different image format and/or a smaller file size.

I’m facing the same issue. I tried both png(354 KB) and jpeg(59 KB) files, but none of them worked.

I’m currently traveling, I’ll review the error logs when I’m home next week.

Seems like there is a general problem, I have just tried and can not update profile pic.

yes, unfortunately we can’t upload and images at the moment. I hope @hillel will soon have time to look into it

Image upload low works, so you can update your profile with images.

I couldn’t upload mine yesterday either, but I just tried today again, and it worked successfully.
