šŸŽ® Show Off Your Current Game Project: Developer Showcase Thread

Hey fellow game developers!

Here’s a cozy space for all of us to share the amazing projects we’re pouring our hearts into right now. Whether you’re working on a massive Robot simulator, an indie puzzler or your very first game - we want to see it!

What to Share:

  • Screenshots or GIFs of your game
  • A brief description of your concept
  • Any cool mechanics or features you’re proud of
  • Your inspiration or what makes your project special to you

Drop your projects below! I can’t wait to see what incredible worlds, characters, and experiences you’re bringing to life. :sparkles:

Don’t worry if your game isn’t polished or ā€œreadyā€ - works-in-progress are absolutely welcome and encouraged! Sometimes sharing early can provide the motivation boost we all need.

I’m sorry, I didn’t see your thread before posting mine…

I’m going to take this as ā€œwhat we’re working on right nowā€ thread, and the other one as ā€œwhat’s already out thereā€.

I’m currently working on https://giantrobotgame.com/.

Steam description:

GIANT ROBOT GAME is a real-time tactical mech roguelite. Play as a giant battle robot that’s saving humanity from other giant robots. Lob grenades, start wildfires, construct turrets, hack enemies, make them overheat and explode, equip their legs, rescue humans, run away.

I’m currently working on a numbers puzzle game in Flutter. My hope is to take it all the way to a full commercial release later this year.

It doesn’t have a game loop or collision detection, so it’s not much of a Flame candidate, and I’m writing it all with old fashioned Stacks, AnimationControllers, and CustomPainters.
